1. Requirements
You need at least WordPress version 5.0+ installed for this theme to work properly. We strongly recommend that you always use the latest stable version of WordPress to ensure all known bugs and security issues are fixed. Other requirements:
- PHP version 7.2 or greater. But for maximum speed gain, we suggest you use PHP version 7.4.x.
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater.
- WordPress memory limit of 512 MB or greater.

- You can insert your username and password to log in to your Radius Theme account.
- Write the personal details like First Name, Last Name, and Email Address . These fields are mandatory to fill up.
- Click on the checkbox of ‘Terms Conditions and Privacy Policy’.
At the end, tap on the “Free Download” button.

4. You will receive a purchase confirmation message and a confirmation email. You can download the free theme from both places.
When you are ready to install a theme, you must first upload the theme files and then activate the theme itself. The theme files can be uploaded in two ways:

FTP Upload: Using your FTP client, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the /wp-content/themes/ directory on your server.
- WordPress Upload: Navigate to Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload. Go to browse, and select the zipped theme folder. Hit "Install Now", and the theme will be uploaded and installed.Once the theme is uploaded, you need to activate it.
Activate License Key

After activation, insert the license key to get the update notice and automatic updates.

You will get the license key from the RadiusTheme My Account or the Purchase Confirmation Email. Insert the license key and click on ‘Save Changes’ .
Install Plugins
Once the theme is uploaded, you need to install and activate the following pre-packaged plugins.

- Classified Core: Required and must install plugin.
- RT Framework: Required and must install plugin.
- Classified Listing: Required and must install plugin.
- RT Demo Importer: Required if you want to import demo content. You can deactivate it after the demo is imported.
- Elementor Page Builder: Recommended. Page builder plugin.
N.B.: All plugins must be installed and activated if you want your site to look exactly like the demo.
Click on the “begin installing plugins” button, and start installing.

After the completion of the installation process, you have to activate these plugins.

3. Importing Demo contents
We are providing you with two methods for importing demo content: Automatic and Manual. You can follow your preferred method.
3.1 Automatic (Recommended)
Want to build your site like the demo? You can do it with only one click!
This method will remove all your existing data, so use this method only on a fresh website. This procedure is faster because you just have to do one click, and then everything will happen automatically.

If you want an exact clone of the demo website without doing any manual configuration after importing data, then this method is appropriate for you.
** Note: Before proceeding, please remember that when you are done with the demo import, all existing settings and contents will be removed and replaced by the demo contents. So it is highly recommended that you only do this on a fresh site. **
First, please make sure that the Radius Directory theme is activated on your site.

From the Admin menu, navigate to Plugin-> Installed Plugin> Demo Importer -> Install Demo Contents.
On this page, click on the Install button to install the demo. It will take some time to import the demo contents.

After importing the demo data, please update your permalink. To update the permalink, navigate to Settings -> Permalink. Select ‘Post Name’ as Permalink Structure. Then click on the “Save Changes” button.
3.2 Manual Import
Use this method only if:
- The automatic demo import method fails (Only a few of our customers, like 5%, have experienced this issue due to their hosting limits; in that case, we also provide free demo importing service if you contact us).
- You already have a working website with existing content (eg, posts, pages, etc).
Here are the steps:
- First, install and activate the plugin One Click Demo Import. Here's the plugin link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/one-click-demo-import/
- From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Import Demo Data.
- On this page, click on the "Switch to Manual Import" then select the required files [All required files included with the theme in the sample data folder] and press the Continue & Import button.

- After importing the demo data, please update your permalink. To update the permalink, navigate to Settings -> Permalink. Select ‘Post Name’ as Permalink Structure. Then click on the “Save Changes” button.

4. Listing Setup
We are using the plugin Classified Listing here for Listing functionalities, so you can check the plugin documentation and tutorials from the plugin website.

4.1. Add Listing Categories
To add or edit a category, go to Listings => Categories menu
- Name: Add category name.
- Parent Category: Set parent category if any, or don’t select anything.
- Description: Add category description. However, it is not in use in the front end for now.
- Order: Set category order.
- Types: Set category type, such as Sell/ Buy/ Exchange/ Job/To Let. The in-ad submission form category depends on these ad types.
- Price Unit: You can set the price unit depending on the particular category. The unit you set will show on the front end.
- Image & Icons: Set the category image, Map image, and icon from here.

Click on the “Add New Category” button to update the settings.
4.2. Add Locations
To add/ edit locations, go to Listings => Locations
- Name: Add location name.
- Parent Location: Set parent location if you have one. If not, don’t select anything.
- Description: Add category description. Though it is not in use in the front end now.
- Order: Set the category order.

5. Theme Customization Settings
5.1 General
From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the General tab.
From here, you can upload your main logo and light logo. The light logo will be used when "Transparent header" is enabled.

Here you can find the option for enabling/disabling the "Back to Top Arrow" option. Choose your preferred option.
5.2 Header Settings
To change the Header-related settings, please go to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Header tab. The following features are available:
- Choose the header layout.
- Change the menu alignment according to your choice.
- Select the header width.
- You will get the permission to enable/disable the top bar options.
- Activate sticky header if required.
- Enable Transparent Header. You have to enable Banner or Slider on the page to make it work properly.
- You have options to enable/disable the Header Right Button.
- Enable the Header login icon visibility option.
- Activate the Header chat icon visibility option.
- You have options to enable/disable the Breadcrumb Visibility.

After changing the settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button.
5.3 Footer Settings
To change the footer settings, navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to Footer tab. It will look like this:

To set up footer widgets, navigate to Appearance -> Widgets. Here you can find available footer widget areas.

5.4 Typography
You can change the typography of Body, Headers, and Menu. To do this, go to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Typography tab.

After changing the settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button.
5.5 Blog Settings
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Blog Settings tab. From here, you can change Blog/Archive-related settings.

5.6 Post Details
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Post Details Settings tab. From here, you can change post-related settings.

5.7 Layout Settings
From here, you can set default layouts for pages, blog, posts, etc. You can find this setting on Appearance -> Customize and then the Layout Defaultstab. From here, you can change post-related settings.

5.8 Colors
From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Colors tab.
Choose your preferred primary and secondary colors from the color palette. Also, from here, you can change the top listing background color.

After changing the settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button.
5.9 Listing Settings
From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Listing Settings tab.
- Enable the option for listing sidebar visibility.
- Disable/enable other listing settings according to your preference.

After changing the settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button.
5.10 Contact & Socials
From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Contact & Socials tab. The information below will show up on the top bar.

After changing the settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button.
5.11 Error Page Settings
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Error Page Settings tab. From here, you can change the settings for the error page.

- Upload a featured image.
- Insert error text and button text.
5.12 Site Identity
A favicon is the little icon that you see at the address bar of your browser. To set this, from the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Customize link. Then navigate to Site Identity.
From there, you can upload the "Site Icon", which will be used as a favicon.

5.13 Background Image
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Background Image Settings tab. From here, you can change the settings.

- Insert background image as your preference.
- Select suitable preset options.
- Adjust the image position.
- Choose a suitable image size.
- Click the checkbox for repeat background image and scroll through the page options.
5.14 Menu Settings
You can create menus from Appearance -> Menus Page. This is standard WordPress functionality. To display any menu on the site header, please select the menu location as "Primary Menu".

5.15 Home Page Settings
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize. Then go to the Home Page Settings tab. From here, you can change the settings.
You can choose what’s displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or a fixed/static page.
To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Demo Content installation failed
This is a hosting issue. In most hosting demo installation will work fine. But some hostings block certain permissions, which may cause this issue.
If this happens to you, you can contact your hosting provider or alternatively send a support request to support@radiustheme.com, and we will help you to fix this.
If you face this type of issue, please update your permalink. To update the permalink, navigate to Settings -> Permalink. Select ‘Post Name’ as Permalink Structure. Then click on the “Save Changes” button.
6.2 404 Error in All Pages
